Unsaturated polyester hardening by CO2-Laser and analysis its chemical structure by Raman and FT-IR Spectroscopy

Unsaturated polyester was hardened by CO2-laser. Its chemical structure before and after of hardening was studied by using of Raman and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy. The results indicated that Raman spectroscopy is much better than FT-IR spectroscopy to demonstrate the changes in chemical structure.
