Abstract: (5029 Views)
In this paper, we investigate the effect of frequency of the applied electric field on the dielectric anisotropy nematic liquid crystal doped with nanoparticles of pure nematic examined. Detailed study of the dielectric constant for the parallel component of the dielectric constant shows that the concentration of 1%(wt/wt) of nanoparticles has increased dielectric constant. Perpendicular component of the dielectric constant for all doped samples is decreases compared to the pure sample. It was observed that increasing the frequency does not affect the dielectric anisotropy.it was also observed that for very high concentrations of nanoparticles the dielectric anisotropy becomes negative.
