Investigation Effect of Silica Nano Particle on Dielectric Properties of E7 Nematic Liquid Crystal

In this study, E7 liquid crystal doped with different amounts of SiO2 nanoparticles was studied and dielectric properties of pure and doped NLC with special ordering (homogeneous and homeotropic orientations) in different temperature an 20 kHz frequency were analyzed. Obtained data exhibits that dielectric constant of NLC doped with low percent of nanoparticles by increasing temperature increases but for high percent of nanoparticles decrease the dielectric constant
