Abstract- In this paper, considering the exactly solvable quantum oscillator system, we address the role played by the nonlinearity of their potential in the establishment of nonclassical features. The nonclassical behavior of the states under consideration is investigated using the nonclassical indicator 𝜼, which is based on the interference, in the always positive Husimi representation. We focus on the nonclassicality-nonlinearity relation using the generic sixth-order potential confirming the idea that nonlinearity is a resource for the generation of nonclassicality.
