In this paper effect of the excimer laser irradiation on the oil and water contact angle of PC was investigated. Surface morphology and chemistry modifications are two important factors effect on the surface wettability. Scanning Electron Microscopy was used for investigation the morphology of the irradiated samples. The results of the experiments show that the laser irradiation strongly effects on the wettability. At the fluences above the ablation threshold, microstructures are fabricated and at the fluences above 80  mJ/Cm2, samples show superhydrophobicity and superoleophilicity properties.
