Experimental study optical and magnetic properties of nickel oxide nanoparticles before and after annealing

In this work, nickle oxide nanoparticles were prepared by using the preciptitation method. Samples with different techniques such as UV-Vis, FT-IR, VSM and XRD were charactrized. XRD results for the annealed sample shows the crystalline peaks, but as synthesized sample is amorphous. the VSM results show antiferomagnetic and super-paramagnetic properties before and after annealing the sample, respectively. the UV-Vis spectra show that band gap energy is increasing with decreasing the particles size.
