Abstract: (1771 Views)
surface plasmon resonance (SPR) phenomenon has various applications in martial sciences, pharmaceutical products, clinical diagnostics and detecting environmental changes. Surface plasmon resonance can be utilized for measuring refractive indices of different media specially liquids. Several configurations have been so far used for such measurement, and most of them are either based on scanning incidence angle or wavelength which lead complications for practical use. In this article we propose a method for SPR detection using tightly focused beam without the need for angle or wavelength scanning. Presented experimental results sufficiently verify the efficiency of the reported method.
