Investigation of the Optical properties of Sr2NiWO6 using Density Functional Theory

Abstract- In this paper optical properties in tetragonal phase of Sr2NiWO6 such as real and imaginary part of dielectric function, refractive index, extinction index, electron energy loss Spectroscopy (EELS), reflectivity index. were studied by using full potential–linearized augmented plane wave (FP-LAPW) method in the framework density functional theory (DFT) with the different approximations such as GGA and GGA+U by Wien2k Package.
