Effect of magnetic field on parameters of laser Induced Plasma copper sample

In this research, the effect of different magnetic fields (0.74 -1.12 T) generated by two movable Nd-Fe-B magnets has been studied on Laser Induced Plasma copper sample. The result shows an improvement in the intensity of plasma spectral lines (atomic and ionic) by increasing the intensity of external magnetic field. The plasma spatial confinement, which occurs by applying an external magnetic field, significantly increased electron density and plasma temperature
