Abstract: (3312 Views)
Fresnel lenses based on liquid crystals, because of LC’s large birefringence & also tunable optical properties, have attracted considerable attention in photonics. Precise controlling of focal length in a lens, can be kind of remarkable tools in photonics. In this article, we introduce a layout printing way for producing Fresnel zone on 1294-1b liquid crystal doped with dye. With layout printing technique, we recorded 25 zones on cell with λ=532nm diode laser. After producing, DDLC Fresnel lens have 33 cm focal length at 0 V and 225 cm focal length at 20 V.
