Design and construction of 250 mj green laser from single high energy oscillator

Abstract- In this paper we design a green laser with output energy of 250 mj. In first step, designed a single Nd:YAG laser oscillator with 400 mj output energy, and at next step with GTR-KTP we generate second harmonic of it. At design of resonator we optimize the resonator with respect to thermal lensing and threshold of damage of optical element
