Abstract: (2863 Views)
Optical parametric chirped pulse amplification is studied numerically by taking into account spatial profiles of input pulses. It is shown that maxium energy gain is obtained utilizing super Gaussian signal and pump pulses. Moreover, studying the effect of initial beam waist on amplification process reveals the transverse narrowing of amplified signal.
