High-Reflection (HR) optical filter S|(LH)4|Air contain four pair of Al2O3 and Si thin film, as layers with low (L) and high (H) reflection index respectively, was design and simulate in Macleod Software. Designed filter coated with Ion Beam Assisted ِDeposition (IBAD) on glass substrate and facet of 650 nm diode laser as high-Reflective back mirrors. Spectroscopic result show the S|(LH)4|Air coated filter have broad and uniform stop band in 750-550 nm with 89% highest reflection. Reflection of Simulated and coated filter was adapted. Qualified coated and made filter repeatability conclude from filters reflection consistently. SPM analysis show the Roughness root mean square (Rrms) of surface filters are in order of 1.17nm and growth model was cylindrical. Therefore made filter have appropriate surface and optical properties for diode laser rear mirrors.
