Abstract:   (3264 Views)
Spray pyrolysis system was used to obtain ZnO thin films on glass substrates. The optical defects and crystal structure of the films were been investigated by use of X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV-vis spectroscopy and photoluminescence (PL) spectra. The X-ray diffraction analysis reveals polycrystalline character of prepared films with wurtzite structure and preferential orientation along (002). UV-vis measurement exhibited that the films have optical transparency in the visible region of about 80%. Photoluminescence (PL) studies of the deposited films in the interval indicates several peaks that observed with increasing time the number of peaks increases and the peaks are sharper.
