We employ von Neumann entropy, as a measure of entanglement, to describe the entanglement between atoms and the quantized electromagnetic field, in the Markov approximation. Starting from a separable state, it is shown that the degree of entanglement, as a function of time, varies from zero to a maximum and asymptotically diminishes. A comparison between this behavior and that in the right-handed materials is also given gte mso 9]>l> Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE AR-SA gte mso 9]>l> }, URL = {http://opsi.ir/article-1-674-en.html}, eprint = {http://opsi.ir/article-1-674-en.pdf}, journal = {Accepted and Presented Articles of OPSI Conferences}, doi = {}, year = {2015} }
