First by considering a square lattice PCF its dispersion profile of is engineered, by means of infiltrating the air holes of adjacent to the PCF core. Then assuming to launch optical pulses of given wavelengths into the infiltrated PCFs, their outputs are simulated. The simulation results show that profiles the dispersion and the effective PCF cross sectional area versus the input wavelength and hence the spectral characteristics of the resulting supercontinum are sensitive to the refractive index of the optical fluid CP - IRAN IN - LG - eng PB - opsi PG - 93 PT - Research YR - 2014
