Three different materials of the inner electrodes are examined. First, the results show the capability of this system to decrease the concentration of NOx in the exhaust gas. In addition, optical emission spectroscopy (OES) results show that the reactor with aluminum as the inner electrode material has more NOx removal efficiency with less power consumption than the other reactors due to more production of Nitrogen unstable atoms.
