The results of simulation show that, because of the characteristics of the intersubband transition and ultra-fast lifetimes,the modulation bandwidth of QC Lasers is more than one order of magnitude greater than that of the conventional diode lasers, and QC Laser has non-oscillating response at above threshold conditions.
