In bombardment of solid targets with quasi-monoenergetic electrons produced by laser pulse energy of 500 mJ and pulse width of 30 fs, x-ray is generated. In this paper, the resulting x-ray flux is simulated by MCNP4C code based on the Monte-Carlo method. Also, the optimum parameters of different targets are evaluated. Then, to assess the most appropriate target geometry, three sphere-, slab-, and cone- lead targets in different dimensions are employed to compare the produced x-ray fluxes at the energy of characteristic x-ray, Kα. %> http://opsi.ir/article-1-325-en.pdf %P 1281-1284 %& 1281 %! %9 Research %L A-10-1-305 %+ %G eng %@ 1126-3278 %[ 2014
