Presence of the nanoparticles in the scattering medium can be resulted in stimulated Mie-Bragg scattering and changes in the Brillouin scattering response of the medium. The results show that the backward stokes pulse duration decreases and pulse compression increases by increasing the concentration of Ag nanoparticles.
