Designing an All Optical OR Logic Gate in a Parity Time Symmetric Cell

An all optical OR logic gate on a nonlinear optical PT symmetric waveguide with triangular index profile is designed. In this design, we have taken the advantage of the non-reciprocity of PT symmetric systems as well as the asymmetric evolution of interacting solitons in such waveguides in nonlinear regime. The results demonstrate the po‌tential applications of PT symmetric optical systems.
