One of the main components of high power fiber lasers is cladding light stripper. This element extracts unabsorbed  pump light and leaked laser signal in cladding and causes  to laser output signal from fiber core to come out pure. In this article the fluoridric acid paste is used for corroding the surface of silica fiber at specified times and lengths. This leads to extracting cladding light. Made in laboratory sample 115W of 126W cladding light was extracted successfully.
