Studying of the imaging with partially coherent light is important for characterizing the real and distant sources such as stares. In the optical imaging systems where the lens can’t be used, the diffractive lenses specially Fresnel zone plates are good alternatives. In this paper the focusing properties of the partially coherent light by Fresnel Zone Plate with measuring the beam intensity in focus and out of focus, and dependence of the intensity on the distance from the focal point are considered. Base on this we used a Gaussian Schell-model beam as the partially coherent light which has been provided by passing the laser beam through a rotating diffuser. The experimental results confirm the theoretical solutions.
