Here, an improved fabrication method of symmetric microbubble resonator based on heating of a slightly pressurized capillary is presented. A double arc discharge device has been fabricated which ensures a homogeneous distribution of the heat all over the capillary surface. Microbubbles with 220-640 µm diameters and the wall thickness of 2-7 µm are fabricated. The demonstrated microbubble resonators have Quality factors up to 2.6 × 106 at 1558 nm.
