Investigation of the Casimir-Polder Forces in Presence of Spherical Meta-material Invisibility Cloaking

In this paper, on the base of canonical approach in quantization of the electromagnetic fields, we obtain the Casimir-Polder force between a several levels atom and absorbing media in terms of the electromagnetic Green tensor. We use the aforementioned relation for calculation of the Casimir-Polder force for a two level atom which is placed in the vicinity of the spherical meta-material invisibility cloaking. Then, by numerical calculations, it is shown that the operation of the invisibility cloak in the reduction of force is more noticeable compared with the similar absorbing media.
