Propagation of short pulse laser beam through turbulent atmosphere by introducing atmospheric system function was modeled. Parabolic wave equation based on split-step method and creation of phase planes which simulate the optical atmospheric turbulent was calculated. Instantaneous intensity distribution and spatial average of energy density of laser beam have been simulated. The simulation results show that spatial distribution of laser beam changes in turbulent atmosphere. Also it is found that pulsed laser is affected less than continuous-wave laser under turbulent atmosphere.
